The CHIPS Parent Portal Is Live — Your Classes, Payments and Waivers in One Place | CHIPS Blog
CHIPS families now have a passwordless account: classes, payments, waivers and referrals in one place — and where to put emergency contacts back on file.
How do I sign in to my CHIPS account?
Go to /Portal and enter the email address CHIPS already sends your receipts to. We email you a sign-in link — there is no password. The link is good for one hour; once you are in, you stay signed in on that device until you press Sign out.
What can I see in the portal?
Five tabs: Classes (what your child is enrolled in, waitlisted for or pending payment on, and when the next session is), Payments (what you paid and any CHIPS credit), Family (your children and their signed waivers), Profile (your own name, phone and town), and Invite (your referral code and where your thank-you discount stands).
Why is my child's emergency contact and allergy information blank?
For months the class registration form asked for both and did not store the answers. Parents did not skip the question — we lost it. Those fields are now on the Family tab of your account, they save as you type, and you can change them whenever you like. Adding them is the first thing we ask families to do.
Can my partner or my child's grandparent use the same account?
Yes. Under Family you can add another email address to your household. They sign in with their own address and see the same page rather than starting a second, half-empty account. Everyone on the household sees everything on the page, including what you have paid, and both of you get an email when someone is added.
Can I change whether CHIPS uses photos of my child?
Yes, at any time. Each child has a photo setting with three states — yes, no, or not asked yet — and most children are still on "not asked yet" because that answer used to live on a waiver rather than in a field anyone could change. You can switch it as often as you want.
