CHIPS: LIGHTUP - Arduino Programming for Middle School (Grades 6-8)

LIGHTUP is CHIPS' Arduino programming course for grades 6-8. Students learn C++ programming and build real projects with sensors, motors, and AI tools. Max 8 students per class.
Fall 2026-27 status: both LIGHTUP cohorts — Los Altos (321 University Ave, Tuesdays or Thursdays 5-6:30 PM) and Foster City (Fridays 5-6:30 PM) — are WAITLIST ONLY. Grades 6-8: CHIPS: ArduinoStudio in Los Altos is the cohort that actually runs — Tuesdays 5:00-6:30 PM, 8 sessions September 15 to November 3, 2026, $569 for the term (about $47/hour) — but it is full and its Fall enrollment closed on September 30, 2026.
