STEM and Arduino Classes Near Sunnyvale, CA | CHIPS

Fall 2026 weekly CHIPS classes run near Sunnyvale in Los Altos. Both cohorts are full for Fall 2026 and the waitlist is open for the next term. Grades 2-5 build real circuits in CIRCUIT; grades 6-8 program real Arduino boards in ArduinoStudio. Every class is capped at 8 students.
Sunnyvale is home to more engineers per capita than almost any city in the US. CHIPS teaches their kids the same way engineers work - real hardware, real code, build-test-fix-improve. Fall classes run Tuesdays in Los Altos for grades 2-5 and 6-8, and both are full this term; LIGHTUP and the Foster City cohorts are waitlist-only too.
Two Fall 2026 classes run at 321 University Ave in Los Altos and both are full — enrollment closed on September 30, 2026: CIRCUIT for grades 2-5 (Tuesdays 4-5 PM, 12 sessions from August 25, $549) and ArduinoStudio for grades 6-8 (Tuesdays 5-6:30 PM, 8 sessions from September 15, $569 for the term, about $47/hour).
