CHIPS by inteRFace R&D is Silicon Valley's hands-on STEM program for kids and teens. Real Arduino, real electronics, real robotics, real AI — not simulations, not screens, not Scratch.
Programs: CIRCUIT (basic electronics, grades 3-5), LIGHTUP (Arduino programming, grades 5-8), NEURAL (AI & robotics, grades 4-6), MAKER (IoT & ESP32, high school).
Locations: Sunnyvale (510 S Mathilda Ave), Los Altos, Foster City. Service area includes Cupertino, Mountain View, Santa Clara, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Belmont, Redwood City.
Small classes — max 8 students per class. Every kid in our pop-up events and birthday parties takes home the hardware they build. Classes from $46-62/class.
Founded by Shahaf Baron, a 15+ year R&D engineer and the creator of ArduinoStudio.com, a free browser-based Arduino IDE. 250+ students have come through CHIPS so far.
